Close all running programs.



Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Depending on the
computer configuration, the installation program may
automatically run. If the program does not run automatically: On
the Start menu, click Run. Type

x:setup

(where X is the letter of

the CD-ROM drive), and click



.



Follow the instructions on the computer screen.

This section describes how to install Macintosh printing software.



Quit all running applications.



Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.



Double-click the HP LaserJet Installers folder.



Choose whether to install the OS 8 and 9 versions or the OS X
version. Double-click the appropriate installer.

the instructions on the screen.

Mac OS Help for troubleshooting information or contact

If you are on a network with multiple zones, select the zone in the

box where the product is located. If this is

unknown, ask your network administrator.



Double-click the desired printer. An icon should appear.

by clicking the Go-Away (Close) box in the

upper-left corner.
